Rumours of missing episodes being found … https://thedoctorwhocompanion.com/2025/10/06/more-missing-episodes-of-doctor-who-confirmed-to-exist-announcement-expected-shortly/ Hope it’s true!

I think it matters greatly how (and where) you express an opinion, as to the kind of reaction you'll receive to it. If you were to say 'Only Fools and Horses wasn't my cup of tea, I didn't find it funny' that's very different to saying 'Only Fools and Horses isn't funny' especially to someone who loves the show. If you're just dissing something that lots of other people enjoy, the reaction isn't likely to be very friendly. Imagine if someone posted on here that they thought rugby league was a load of old tripe. I'd ban them for trolling.

All the DEI stuff has been binned from this thread because, well, why do you think? Because people can't resist climbing onto their political soapboxes and it all turns nasty. There's a sub-section of the forum for that (the political discussion, not the nastiness, which has no place on TRL), and it isn't here. Back on topic, or the thread gets locked. Thanks.

Odsal Stadium - Ground Improvement Plan
John Drake replied to RBKnight's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
I've never been in the press box at Odsal. I've only ever watched games there stood on the terraces and, very occasionally (except when we were in League One and I splashed out on a more expensive season ticket to help the club) sat in the main stand. I get why away fans don't like it, but you're not supposed to, it's not your home ground, its ours! -
Odsal Stadium - Ground Improvement Plan
John Drake replied to RBKnight's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
It was hardly likely to, with the club struggling for survival in the Championship and briefly, League One. As a Bulls fan, I do get frustrated with people slagging Odsal off as if there was some other better option magically available or financially affordable. -
Odsal Stadium - Ground Improvement Plan
John Drake replied to RBKnight's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Well, they actually did, if you look at what Odsal was like in 1996. In fact, they probably jeopardised the club's future by sinking so much money into the corporate stand behind the sticks, where the old stock car pits used to be. -

I think you'd be wrong about that. Odsal is what it is. Home to Bradford Bulls. There are no better options on the table, just uncosted fantasies, so the club just has to make the best of what they've got. They were quite good at that when they were in Super League and put most other clubs with supposedly better facilities to shame. Obviously it's a lot harder in the Championship because there's less money, but even so, last weekend they ad the biggest crowd in the competition by some distance, against a team with no travelling support, on a night when the weather wasn't the best. Is it perfect? No. Is it as bad as some are making out here? Definitely not. -
14 Team Super League (Resurrected Thread)
John Drake replied to sam4731's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Just binned off a whole load of off-topic bickering from this thread. Please bear this thread below in mind when posting on TRL. Thanks. -

14 team SL a possibility next season
John Drake replied to The Daddy's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Locking this now, because it's drifted waaaaaaaaaay off topic now and I can't be bothered editing out the last few pages of argy-bargy that has nothing to do with the thread title whatsoever. Feel free to start a new thread to discuss the actuality, rather than the possibility, of a 14-team Super League next season, if you feel there's anything new or interesting to say on the subject. Also, please do not use words that would otherwise be blocked by our swear filter by thinly disguising them with different letters like @!$ etc. The swear filter is there for a reason. We don't want that sort of discourse on TRL. Thanks.
