  1. Hi. Canberran Australian here. The 4 British players we have are incredible. We are so proud of these English boys. Bateman, Hodgson and whitehead are incredible. World class players who are dominating in the NRL. Everything has changed for the better with these lads on board for the Canberra Raiders. Probably our best season in 25 years.

  2. People pretending they’ve made donations complaining about their non-existent donations being used to save lives. Strange angry little people.

  5. My 4 year old grandson receives his first junior parkrun wristband today, which will be his 12th 2K run. He's also done 2 full parkruns but it's a bit much for him boredom wise, not physically. Meanwhile I'm closing in on 250, ETA is December.

  7. As part of my drive to get fit and healthy following my Afib discovery I'm walking 24 miles today at Edinburgh's Kiltwalk. Start at 10am, the regret kicked in about 15mins ago...

  9. This appears to cover Ireland and Northern Ireland. https://afloat.ie/resources/organisations/rnli-ireland I was trying to see if money raised here went to Ireland. In the experience of our friends at Youghal, there was never any issue of it being "Royal" My wife has worked long and hard here for years raising money via the RNLI shop, plus attending fundraising events and her rant is about the stupid ignorant people that let their kids sail out to sea in li-los etc and require rescuing.

  10. Lets try and avoix making this political topic eh. RNLI's first station in Ireland was opened in 1826. The RNLI is a registered charity in Ireland the Republic of Ireland 20003326 The records appear to show the main income , over 10, 000, 000 €, comes from donations. A friend of ours worked in the RNLI shop at Youghal and reported on the generosity of the locals in funding the service through donations, fund raising events etc.. Can't see anything there that shows that the RNLI in GB sends money to Ireland. https://www.charitiesregulator.ie/en/information-for-the-public/search-the-charities-register/charity-detail?srchstr=20003326&regid=20003326

  12. I've completed 90 runs now so well set for my 100 target this year. I volunteer at a rate of 10% my runs. Scanning this week. My last volunteer stint on tokens was a mess. With another guy we mixed the token order somehow. Results came out after a lot of work and adjustment at 4:30pm which is a PB as slowest results issued at that PR!

  13. I remember him. He worked alongside Jim Brown as well for the amateur league. I think he was Alan Kirbys father who became involved coaching Humberside.

  14. Football continues to be the loser as Swindon win again. ? @Bob8, check out Town's 3rd goal. Totally demeaning to sport. ?
