Defunct French RL clubs

I think it's more likely to be the St Hippolyte about 25km north of Perpignan. I stayed on a vineyard there once in my campervan. -
Huddersfield Giants av. attendance 4,500 (1st tier RL) Huddersfield Town av. attendance 18,800 (3rd tier football) You still say no?

CHAMPIONSHIP 2025: LEADING SCORERS - UPDATED

Fevnut, you need to emigrate to Australia. The Aussies are obsessed with stats, you would be a superstar over there. (Keep up the good work)! -

When Tino Fa'asuamaleaui gets there his name will carry on round the front of the shirt. -
A Little Thought Experiment
BadlyOverdrawnBoy replied to Wellsy4HullFC's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
I have a union-playing mate who entered as one of a team of props in a 7s tournament. They scored first, then again, then the opposition discovered that they only had to boot the ball down field and the wingers cleaned up. They returned to the clubhouse and within an hour every team member had bought a round. -
Does anyone know how many US fans travel to the European NFL games?

Multicultural Round

I think a dairy-free round would be a good idea for both NRL and Super League......no milking. -
Moaning for the sake of moaning

Do you really think that without VAR the moaning would stop? The same replays would be shown, the same technology used, there would be just as many moaners wanting VAR back. Same for RL. -

I'm glad someone had the balls to call this out. -

Will they bring their own referee? (Another possible moan). -
Player names on shirts
BadlyOverdrawnBoy replied to bywellram12's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Why not a compromise with the names on the back of their shorts (instead of those ridiculous bum-sponsors)? -
Video Officials
BadlyOverdrawnBoy replied to Sports Prophet's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
I think part of the trouble is that the definition and frame rates over here are often sub prime. The NRL camera operators also have excellent positional sense. -
Seeing the Southern team again in the CC set me thinking (always dangerous). Is hoisting, union line-out style, permitted in the laws? I could see it being useful in short kick-off or dropout situations.

I'd say crusher tackle and hip-drop are the biggest penalty earners these days. Very few of them are genuine

I see the Salford reds arisin'

Foll de roll -
...and making even more, probably. His 50 yard kicks for Keith Fielding to chase swung many a match for Salford.

No disrespect to anybody, but I'd say the dearer one is a bit better value. -
2025 Season Tickets/Memberships

What a brilliant idea. Best seats at Penrith Panthers work out at £22.50 per match. https://www.penrithpanthers.com.au/membership/packages/full-season/platinum-membership/ -
London Broncos (Merged Threads)
BadlyOverdrawnBoy replied to Magic XIII's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
So true. In the Ealing era I met someone who lived round the corner from Trailfinders but had never heard of London Broncos.
