Cheers WWD The Cathedral is a fine building, I was amazed that I had never heard of it (as architectural magnificence) until I actually visited it. All the very best to your good self and your family. 1 1 Visit my photography site www.padge.smugmug.com Radio 5 Live: Saturday 14 April 2007 Dave Whelan "In Wigan rugby will always be king" This country's wealth was created by men in overalls, it was destroyed by men in suits. gingerjon
New one for me tomorrow evening: photographing a basketball match. It's South Coast Outlaws v Haywards Heath Panthers in the Sussex League. We're a long, long, long way from the NBA. Match starts at 8.15pm. The teams get access to the hall at 8. Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. (Terry Pratchett)

I have a decent 24-70 f2.8 which should be more than up to the job (or would be if I was competent) as I can basically be on the sideline or just a couple of feet back from it. I've not taken pics in that hall before before but have played other sports in there and it's not *too* gloomy. We'll see how it all turns out anyway. 1 Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. Your excellent pics remind me what a wonderful - but not well known - corner of the world Bowland is. I used to live just up the road, as it were, in Craven - first Long Preston and then Embsay.
