I watched it with both eyes open and Wires still won the game. :P:P

Wires gave you every chance in the first 20 mins, infact i thought it would have gone against us towards the end, but our fitness levels matched yours and we deserved the win.

In feb when Wigan beat Wires, all the Wires on here said well done, well played etc etc.

now the result is our favour, you become a spoilt brat and chuck everything out of the pram, and by the sounds of it you are banging and kicking about on the floor

I actually think you have ADHD

I don't have an issue with the result at all.

Well done to Warrington.

What I do have an issue with is the usual male genitals spouted by Dave "I have one eye open" T, regarding his spotting of Tomkins doing all manner of dirty deeds, yet failing to see Morley taking out both of our half backs on numerous occasions, particularly in the 1st half.

It's not just Wigan that he picks on in this kind of thing, he regularly fails to see any number of misdemeanours perpetrated by Warrington players. He manages all of this without actually ever attending a game, which is almost miraculous.

Anyway, once again, well done to Wire on their win, but I hope you all realise that you are in a glass house, and you should be keeping tight hold of your stones.

Ok i guess that's for dave and you.

and don't forget this thread was started by a leeds fan, who as padge pointed out, he's ###### stirring.

Tompkins was a silly silly boy, he may or may not get lucky

as for morley, anderson and carvell, yes they were lucky with some of the decision, but i would also like to add it is rife in SL and they are not the only ones, week in week out someone gets took out.

Just watch it over the next few weeks.

I know that, but there are some Wire fans on here who just can't see it.

Morley hit the kicker 4 times in succession, and when you consider that you are not supposed to hit them at all, it's a touch sanctimonious to get on your high horse about Tomkins. Not aimed at you by the way.

Of them 4 times I only thought one was dangerous or late, the other 3 were pretty normal challenges though a bit odd to see him going in ###### first.

It doesn't matter whether you hit him with your ######, or your elbow. He just shouldn't be doing it.

Warrington were worse than dreadful in the first 20 mins, it was then Wigan should have been far more than 6 points up. I said then to those around me it wasn't enough of a lead and we would pay for it and did.

Once Wire got their game together they were good but not totally convincing.

The Wire pack ran the show for an hour, outsized and bullied the smaller and less experienced Wigan forwards.

Fielden & Prescott ran themselves into the ground but it was never enough with only two props against the opposition front row. Tuson is not a prop but played there again, Mossop may be in time to come but not now and Wigan lost him in the game.

Warrington played well for the last 60 mins, were the better team and probably deserved the win.

Wigan had their chances again when Farrell should have scored.

Technically not a great game but exciting throughout.

Had a neutral speccie sat next to me who said it was a fantastic match and he applauded both teams off at the end.

These matches are very close, Wire beat Wigan by 7. Earlier in the season Wigan win by 2.

Wigan beat Saints by 8 then Saints win at Wigan by 2.

Great stuff to watch.

What a great game is Rugby League!

What, so he shouldnt be challenging a kicker? Ok then, lets just bring in a rule where your not allowed within 10 metres of a kicker, that will be fun to watch.

Don't be ridiculous.

Are you claiming that Morley is so lacking in control of his own bodily movements that he finds it impossible to stop before hitting the kicker on every conceivable occasion?

If that's the case, then it's time to get him out of the game before his lack of control gets someone seriously injured.

My memory is hazy on this, but I seem to recall a player being sin binned in a cup game for challenging the kicker after he had kicked and pretty much all and sundry agreeing that was the right course of action.

Indeed, do agree with you. ;)

Yes the admin did start this thread, but you need to grow up mate, as it was you who started the other thread.

paranoia, not me mate, i was just highlighting it was you that started the thread and not a Wire.

Hes challenging the kicker front on, as long as he hits him before or during a kick then surely its ok as its a tackle? If he hits him late (which he did only once) then its a penalty. How else is he supposed to challenge a kicker than actually tackling him?

Shut up you tart.

You are beginning to sound like a 3 year old girl.

Dave, do me a favour will you?

WATCH THE GAME WITH BOTH EYES OPEN!!!!

Or even better, try going to a game once every so often.

Anybody that posts in text that size is an insecure attention seeker. How old are you, 6 or 7 ?

I would enter into a battle of wits with you, but sadly, you are unarmed.

I like that.

That's enough grumping on this for mine. There were the usual taps and over zealous behaviour on both sides. Joel is becoming a stroppy liability imho, but I would defend him to the hilt against any opposition fans suggesting that. Morley is dirty but clever about it these days and makes the most of his "icon" status. I watched Hanley plaey for Wigan for a number of years and wasn't complaining then.

For mine, the game highlighted the reality with Wigan. We have individual gaps which collective endeavour can usually but not always compensate for, and so our one chance of winning something is the Minor Premiership. Next year's recruitment looks completely on the mark to me in that respect.

For the Wire, I genuinely wonder whether putting so much into this game will best serve their interests. To win their next 7 games will be a very tall order. If they do so they deserve to be ranked with the great teams in TGG. Intriguing times.
