Yep, judging by his twitter he's just some guy with a job like all the rest of us nowadays. Would've thought he could find a contract elsewhere though, he was alright.

Pity, providing he doesn't have health problems/injury etc he could have tried union, wouldn't have had a problem finding a club with those kind of attributes & probably could have earned more money from it at the same time.

Quite amazed by this. Surely even an ordinary player in SL would do a decent job in the lower leagues or Union?

 

I haven't seen much of him, how much less than ordinary is he?

He's being playing regularly in the dark side's seven aside competitions, speedsters are always in demand for these competitions in union,never likely to earn big money, but then it is gaining popularity across the world.

So am I. Given his strike rate in a struggling Rovers side last season, when included, he has got to offer something to a lesser club. Body of opinion at Rovers that given his age and inexperience we should re-sign him on a basic wage. With players like Sio, Mantellato, Blair etc in the squad and Hodgson on the coaching team we could iron out his weaknesses and capitalise on his speed, strength etc. Problem without an A team to give him a run out but he has played for Gateshead/ Newcasle in 2014 and could live and train in Hull.

A wasted talent...if Kevin Penny can return to the top what stops Omari?

Defence, positioning, confidence or lack of. Finishing is electric. An excellent player if coached/ mentored.
