Great to see Seven (Australia), Sky (NZ) and EMTV (PNG) will be showing all 12 matches live.

Hopefully a broadcast deal can be sorted for the UK, ideally seeing the Lionesses getting at least a game or two on one of the BBC channels would be ideal.

I would hope the BBC could pick up the England pool games here and the final. Would be a great boost for Women's RL here.

Maybe more likely that Premier Sports gets it, which would still be an improvement on previous women's RWCs.

You see, now this is the sort of thing that if not picked up for broadcast the RFL should stream for free ...

Dave Woods apart, the BBC probably don't even know women play RL.

You could also say that perhaps even The Rugby Football League don't know either . .  As there is NEVER any news about the women's game

That will surely have to change in the light of the most recently announced funding arrangement with Sport England.

But, with respect, things can and do change over a period of 21 years.  I imagine that reporting back on how centrally allocate money has been spent will now be much tighter than it was over two decades ago.
