CANTERBURY backrower Rhyse Martin will make his NRL debut against Brisbane on Thursday night.

The 25-year-old Papua New Guinean international will start in the Bulldogs back row.

Martin is just one of a number of changes made by coach Dean Pay.

Matt Frawley is another with the half coming into the side for Michael Lichaa.

65min: Kerrod Holland try. Every time the Dogs go down that side and run it on the last tackle they make ground but then they forget about it for the next 20 minutes.

Suncorp surface looks rough. Two Dogs tries have come from Horsies defenders slipping over.

Mbye converts. Doggies 20-14

Boyd is claiming a penalty in the in goal because ...... something ......... no! BS!

Ref's going to give Donkeys a penalty right next to the posts.

Tough on the dogs that but that’s what happens when you’re struggling . The penalty was technically correct but a hard one to take , although the sin bin for that seems harsh . I still can’t get my head around that no foul play however serious warrants an in play sanction but the slightest minor professional foul is a bin. They must look at that and balance it up. The broncos half situation is very strange , I honestly forgot Bird was on the pitch ( not for the first time this year ) . Foran still looks a sad imitation of what he was for the Dogs although overall they showed marked improvement. Just gotta get over the line

Here's the Isaako knock-something. The problem here now is that every time someone drops the ball in NRL it's called knock-on. Does this picture mean fewer knock-ons on future?
