Does beg the question where will Lewis Young be. He was superb against us (Bulls) at their place really impressive

If he’s a half, it can only help having someone like Finn around for a year or two.

He is. Very sharp and engages the line very well, could play full back but the have Theerapol Ritson too who is sharp there

How many Newcastle players have come through their academy. They seem to have quite a good junior set up in the area

have ritson or young re signed yet ? haven't seen anything and both will be priority you'd think and would thrive with their speed off finn

Players that have played in the first team this season having either come though our academy or are currently in our academy are

It depends with with different age groups but the main clubs that run juniors are 

Cramlington Rockets 

Whitley Bay Barbarians 

Gateshead Storm 

Yarm Wolves

Durham Tigers

Catterick Crusaders 

Peterlee Pumas 

Alnwick Bears 

and Wallsend Eagles, Jarrow Vikings, Durham Demons running men’s teams only, but we are working on getting juniors back at those three clubs

in totsl there is 1,255 registered players in the region for junior and men’s it’s been growing between 5-6% per year

It's great to see the growth of the game in the NE, the more that play, the more interest in the game. Be great if Thunder can get up into the championship and see where they can go from there. I always enjoy a day out at Thunder.

Thanks for that. It sounds like the game is getting stronger up there.

Are there certain areas being targeted for new teams or a target for the amount of junior teams they would like to have playing the game at some point in the future?
