The Lad
We have come close three or four times over the last two years and we are due a win over them, with Barrow playing Dewsbury and Swinton playing Leigh we need to win this game to be in with a chance. excolt
Batley losing with 20 mins to go then score 16 pts to win game. When has this superior fitness worked for us.

glemiln
Sadly, another disappointing end after what appears to have been a good first half up the slope. Again, we switch off and concede quickly, late consecutive tries. Lack of on-field leadership? Insufficient experienced players? Resigned to relegation? ( Only a vote to accept the latest restructuring proposal, with one club only relegated, provides a possible, but unlikely respite.) It’s been a long, grim season, especially for the local faithful. Hopefully, the team can give them something to cheer from the remaining games.

BatleyBird
I thought your boys showed some heart yesterday, they just ran out of steam last 20 minutes or so. Hope you stay up, I enjoy our games and coming to your place too. All the best of luck for the rest of the season (especially against Dewsbury )
Sainthamish
We played well up the hill in the first half but, shot ourselves in the foot in the second half with the number of errors we made. When we could complete a set, we were making huge yards down the hill that showed with the 2 comeback tries.

To be honest that's my view of Swinton this season...……….one or both of our teams will be relegated so as others have said at least there are the local derbies to look forward to...…….
