I'm thinking of making a weeks holiday with the wife who's no sports person, so I said you can go into the beer tent and soak up the atmosphere there.

Hmm and you had a dig at me for asking concessions to pay a little to help get the  young-uns in the ground. What's a week in Canada cost to watch a game of rugby we'll probably lose?

well Roger...that's almost three going....

I wonder if Toronto are paying for the championship clubs to travel and stay this time.....I think they were going to let the Super Duper League clubs pay their own way.....had they gone up..... its costing Toronto a fortune....

Their major shareholder has just a bit more money than the average Championship club owner I do believe. His timescales are a bit longer than those we are used to in RL.

more than likely but will be short break this time fly out thursday and fly back on the monday, hopefully will be May or June so would be slightly cheaper

I was not having a go at you PM I was just joining in the conversation.

I believe they where only paying for two seasons.

That's what I did Redditch went out on the Thursday and came back on the Tuesday.

You buyin?...I was there in spirit...unfortunately I have to work for a living.  I wanted to come over last year but the only game that sort of worked was Sheffield but then work changed.  If I can come over next year I intend to but, unfortunately, work is a problem and I have many people that depend on me...need to keep those dollars coming in.

You might have a lot of people depending on you, but surely you get holidays like all people that work do. Could you not book one to be able to come to England with all the dollars you are earning.

No...I tried. Twp put on some games to come over as a package deal...e.g Magic Weekend and some other games...none of the dates worked.  Hopefully it will fit this year around.  They had nothing for the March Break that worked and this is a change they will hopefully make this year.

P.S.  I don't get to 'book' holidays....what is this, some type of socialist thing?...I'm told the dates.

so you are not the boss.....they are ?

for most people ….holidays are not set in stone......people have floating holidays.....you might have to negotiate dates, depending on the company....,eg I had 24 days holiday to book in the year.....but it was first come first served to book them in January for the whole year.....as some dates went quickly....

For future reference the season is from feb to sept.  If your allocated hols aren't in that time scale kayakman put in a complaint to the management. Or are you the management.
