A body has been found and identified as Mike. One of the most innovative coaches I have ever been aware of. Laid the foundations for Saints successes of the late 90's and beyond. 

Rugby League is a sport that desperately needs to expand its geographical supporter base and its player base. This imperative means that all other requirements are secondary until this is done.

All power in the game should be with governing bodies, especially international governing bodies.

Without these actions we will remain a minor sport internationally and nationally.

God bless Mike Bluey Mcclellan

I was fortunate to get to know him we worked together at Network Securities at the time his son Brian was coach at Leeds Rhinos.

I can honestly say he was the most nice and humble person I have ever had the honour to meet.

I once picked him up to attend a game at the Rhinos and his address was St Helens Close in Leeds, I asked him did he pick the house because he coached at St Helens and with a twinkle in his eye he stated “it was pure coincidence” pure magic.

There will never be another Bluey x
