moorside roughyed Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Just read about this competition later this year. It's a good idea to keep interest in the game going. I wonder if Oldham will be entering it.
clifford Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 The major block will be how many players will be contracted to the club, I pretty sure the contracts expire in November.
jroyales Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Surely CH MUST be talking to the existing squad to ensure we have team for next season. With regards to this Micky Mouse competition will the games be behind closed gates and is it open to all championship and first division sides? If it's open to everybody possibly just playing one game isn't worth the hassle for both players and spectators.
ChampagneCharlieReturns Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Play a minimum of 7 games I believe in each group and top 2 of each group form semi finals n then final. Contracts run until Nov 30th. Return to training would mean coming off furlough I assume, be suprised if we entered this comp and how many players will have holidays booked when season was due to end on September 6th?

OL14.yeds Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 Halifax and Rochdale have already said they won’t be entering.
The Art of Hand and Foot Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 Hmmmm!? We could win a trophy by default.
