I agree, he is by far the best full back here. The fact that he isn't on the list suggests an agenda.

The second best for me is Rashford, who also bizarrely is omitted.

I don't watch NRL so I can't compare, but there can't be 14 better than these 2.

They'll be 10...

11 players in the NRL i would say are 'better' than Coote at playing 1.

Isaako, Guth, Ponga, Edwards, Mitchell, CNK, Tedesco, Can't spell Manly fella, Papenhuyzen, Brimson, RTS

Doesnt include the Laurie young un at Wests who looks fun as well as folks who can play 1 but dont, Morris and i'd include Farnworth in this bracket, too.

I had no faith in the Sharks #1 until the season kicked off, but young Will Kennedy has been sensational in what may be his coming of age season.

Hopefully another top 7 by the end of the season.

Sure. It is possible at season’s end. But William has very powerful competition.

This Sunday morning’s clash (UK time), between James Tedesco and Roger Tuivasa- Sheck should be fascinating.

He ain't a full back, he's a forward....and he also plays football if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, after Jake Connor I'm struggling to think of another 6 who come remotely close.

😍

Out of interest, who would You put Forward for Top 7 Hookers?

IMO this is a position where SL with Roby, Clarke and Mcshane has some real top quality.

England do produce alot of good Rakes, Powell and Houghton being another two very good Hookers.

Roby would be a definite pick for the Top 7 I feel even at 36.

Hooker is a position that the NRL lacks a lot of depth in at the moment. Melbourne and Canberra have stockpiled a few good ones but outside of that most clubs are quite stuffed without their first choice, Manly literally don't have any in their squad (Realistically Fainu doesn't count due to his court case).

Plenty of SL 9s would walk right into NRL sides IMO, and the teams would be much better for it.
