Eorl Crabtree on Danny Brough being a Super League legend

Always enjoyed watching Brough play, incredibly skillful with a hell of a kicking game, also a proper angry little half back like they all should be.

He was immense at Derwent Park for Scotland v NZ, was a pleasure to watch.

Was he international class in terms of top level nations❓

No doubt a fine SL player.

Similar player to Tommy Martyn and Lee Briers IMHO and they never really got a look in for GB at the time.

I always enjoyed watching Danny Brough. Tremendous kicking game and a bit of a character.

I liked Brough but don't think he had the skillset of the two you've mentioned there. His kicking game was terrific though.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Briers should have played for GB IMHO.

Martyn played for Ireland(?) and had 2 knee reconstructions(?) Fine SL player who should possibly have played for GB.

His attitude?

Attitude/temperament. I felt he had a tendency to come up short in the big moments in a way that the likes of say Sinfield or Long never seemed to do.

A very fine player though and a tough competitor.
