SteveRugbyLeague
Former Giants player Eorl Crabtree told Huddersfield Hub that Danny Brough is a Super League legend and the game has lost a great character on the pitch after his decision to retire. https://huddersfieldhub.co.uk/danny-brough-retires-at-38-and-is-hailed-as-a-super-league-legend-by-friend-and-former-teammate-eorl-crabtree/
dkw
Always enjoyed watching Brough play, incredibly skillful with a hell of a kicking game, also a proper angry little half back like they all should be. He was immense at Derwent Park for Scotland v NZ, was a pleasure to watch.

Similar player to Tommy Martyn and Lee Briers IMHO and they never really got a look in for GB at the time. I always enjoyed watching Danny Brough. Tremendous kicking game and a bit of a character. As a non heartlands fan and young lad I think it was brough who hit a gorgeous 40/20 and ran down the field swearing at everyone and giving them the finger live on Sky. Was fantastic.

I liked Brough but don't think he had the skillset of the two you've mentioned there. His kicking game was terrific though. I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly. Fine SL player who should possibly have played for GB.

I felt he had a tendency to come up short in the big moments in a way that the likes of say Sinfield or Long never seemed to do. A very fine player though and a tough competitor.
