You know thats going to upset a few

Leigh should have been given 5 years grace. We could have had the chance to build a new Train Station, erect some Mountains, lay a false beach on Penny Flash and knock down the rest of our Mills. Could speyk frog instead of Leyth too.

Oh, we could have called ourselves ‘Olympic’ too as Centurions is too Common.

Would our expansionist extremists be happy then ?

In seriousness, they are in big trouble, and after seeing a vibrant Wakefield do well against Catalans, they won’t get within 20 points of them either !

where's Sir Kev ?

Just watched the highlights on the SL Show, the biggest message that came out of the Toulouse team is they have not had to defend in earnest for quite a while, and individually as player's have forgotten how to and does Mr Houles know how to coach them to do so, on that respect those two prominent player's Ford and Kheirallah would have not made the slightest bit of difference.

Asserting that the bloke who has been organising the defensive line of the club from fullback for the last 10 years would not have made any difference to their defensive efforts is either being just a little disingenuous or perhaps simply not understanding how the game works.

Oh I fully understand how the game works, but what I witnessed in watching those highlights had as much todo with the feeble tackling techniques of the individuals in the TO shirts not so much the defensive organisation which the fullback would be directing them which way to move.

Toulouse last year were probably the best team I've seen in the Championship, but for one reason or another, instead of improving their team in key areas, they are fielding a much lesser version of last year's squad - Ford and Kheirallah have been the heartbeat of the team for years and Casty was a huge presence for them.

Then they've also suffered badly through injuries, but they really haven't made any significant signings either. That's the puzzling thing, I thought they had a good chance of avoiding the drop this year but as well as not really upgrading anywhere having already lost Casty, they then lost arguably their two key players to the vaccine situation.

With Gigot moving to full back that's left them completely disrupted at half back. Having had so much stability last season (admittedly helped by their reduced workload), it's been the opposite this year and it has shown.

Another SL club will have to have a complete meltdown to give TO the chance to stay up.

Wakefield did well at the Weekend too, and would have brushed them aside with ease. It isn't going to get easier, but they will become accustomed to the speed, skill and intensity of SL as the season progresses.

Lets be honest, they are just a Championship side, and absolutely NO better than Leigh last year in my opinion.

It will be a Phenomenal Effort to get within 20 of Wire this weekend.
