I seem to remember it being in the press, but fairly sure he went off to France without plating for us. But then again I didn't remember Ged Corcoran playing for us.....😂😂

At Doncaster for PNG v Doncaster and Wales sub is Dan Fleming. And sure Anthony Walker played a few games for us

Think Anthony Walker might have played the odd game for us,don’t think Dan Fleming did though, are you thinking of Matt Fleming who’s now at Widnes?

Meant this WC

I know, but couldn’t resist as it’s 50 years this month since we (GB then) last won the RLWC and he was involved.

Didn’t he score the winning try?

He definitely scored the other try to Sullivan's length of the field effort. It was actually a 10-10 draw.

At Australia v NZ tonight, Mike Stephenson and other survivors of 2972 WC win were introd at half time of game.

Was that on a time warp?

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.
