£16 for pensioners to watch a friendly, not very customer savvy ☹☹☹☹

Sadly, 18-14 loss after leading with sound defence for most of the game - hope it was a good game, with good support and with much promise for the season.

The Law Cup is never a friendly. What score are we predicting?

Tomorrow is a close game. But my gut says we will win, Hornets by 8.

Well your gut was right for a fifty minute game. But I think it needs some pro-biotics to get it lasting the full eighty. 🥸

Great game well played by both sides. Goal kicking was the difference Hornets missed two, and Riddy had his usual reliable kicking boots on. The Hornets seem to have pulled together a good squad on a much reduced budget.

A good run out. Great defence in mid field. i do not remember Oldham breaking our middle line. We did not deserve to loose in the last few minutes.

It looked a strong, fair one on one tackle

Our game with the neighbours on 7 April may be a noisy one:

"We also hope to see as many as you as possible at the Good Friday game against Rochdale.

"Great Friday – as we have called it – marks the start of a new era for this 147-year-old institution and we want you to celebrate a momentous day with us.
