glemiln
London Skolars has now been bought by an Australian consortium. Subject to RFL approval they should be in place for this season. More comments on the main forum. Guess not a few Aussies will join the new club and provide wider interest in our cup tie.

glemiln
Absolutely - but a little tense near the end. Sheridan was excellent, and a few ex-Hornets on display. Perhaps an opportunity to draw Mayfield in the next round. Now for a good win for Hornets.
Excolt 1
Great win for Mayfield . To have two Rochdale teams in the next round would be good. Prediction ; Ben Okeefe hat trick

Joe 90
Good display although Hornets never really clicked. First real run out of the season. Some real talent on display today !
Tyrone Shoelaces
We got better as the game went on. Once the forwards got going it was one way traffic. The team is still taking shape really. Hewitt MOM. I thought we had a good goal kicker in Tyrer last season but Hewitt was flawless today. Some of the conversions off the touchline were tremendous. Let’s see who we get next in the draw. It was tough on the Skolars having to get here from London for a 1-00 pm kick off. I believe they left London at 7-00 am. A 6 hr plus coach journey isn’t ideal preparation for a game of Rugby League. Still we’ll have to do the same later this season. glemiln
Hornets/Dewsbury and Mayfield/Leigh Miners. Rochdale clubs away in the next round and hopefully both reach the 4th round. Ours will be a good game to help with the opening home league game v Donny the following week.

Anita Bath
both playing teams at their own level so should be competitive…but away draws are usually tough. Lets hope for another Rochdale double.
Tyrone Shoelaces
If Mayfield can win at Cornwall they should be able to give Leigh Miners a game. It’s always tough at Dewsbury but we should travel with optimism. We have a very young but enthusiastic team who’ll surprise a few teams this season. Excolt 1
I think Dewsbury and Doncaster are the best strongest teams in our division so do the bookies so we should know where we are after those two games.
