Ellis has joined Oldham on a permanent deal, that ends that saga.

I don’t think he was in our plans anyway and will free some money up I heard he was on good money at York and his second season was only due to a clause in his contract if we qualified for the playoffs he got a second year. If this is true I don’t know.

Hopefully with Ellis going we can bring more bodies in but only the right players.

Ellis only played for us (Swinton) twice and looked good but also was way off match fitness, I think he was also injured most of the time. Shame really because if fit would have been a real asset.
