Wigan to put up a good fight, but York to pull away inexorably.

A spirited start by the visitors, hitting hard in defence and attack. But I'm expecting York to settle the game down pretty soon.

However TJS is down hurt following a kick return, with the physios in attendance.

TJS looks like she's going to try and run the problem off, but is noticeably less mobile right now.

York finally get on the board, as Whitehead crosses wide out to the Right.

York in again, as the Wigan players start to flag.

York 14:6 Wigan at HT. It has just got tougher and tougher for the Warriors as the game goes on.

Still only 14:6, but we are approaching the stage of the game where York's superior fitness usually starts to tell.

Wigan are really making a fight of this, but are making desperation errors and York's defence is standing fast.

Lacey Owen with the try that takes it beyond Wigan's reach with five minutes left.

But while I always expected York to win, I didn't think they'd look so relieved to do so.

Wigan have proved themselves today, and this young side will be back better in 2024, closing the gap to the Big Three.

Only got back in a few minutes so just caught the end. Nice to hear a noisy crowd celebrating at the end of what looks like a closer than expected game.

A really good, really tough game. Quite a lot of players will be dreading trying to get out of bed tomorrow morning.

Molly Jones looked to be one-armed towards the end, but was still making crucial tackles. Andrade looked in pain when she went off and TJS took a long time to start moving fluently again.

St Helens 10:6 Leeds at HT. No clue yet who'll come out on top here. A bad miss for Leeds' conversion at the end.

Rudge gets the first try of the second half after Cunningham held up ... Saints move to two scores ahead (again) and, in this tight game, that may be enough.

A really well-timed run from Rudge, there.

Leeds score the next try and convert it.

16-12 - only just on 55 minutes.

Great game.
