Yes. There is at the moment. Newcastle in L1 and Whitehaven in Champ.

Well it isn't, I've had it from the proverbial horses mouth.

Championship clubs wanted minimal if any change to their league competition which guaranteed them matches against the big clubs, and didn't want to travel to Cornwall (whilst understanding the L1 problem existed).

They've got what they wanted, with away games in the 1895 Cup that even then are "regional".
