Maybe I'm weird but I'm enjoying the game and finding the commentators fine also.

What many on here do is (obviously perhaps) watch and listen with a proper fans head on. The majority of the viewers though are just random people with no hang ups about any individual person. I like to think they'll enjoy this, it's way better than the England-Ireland football game.

It was better in the first half when the Salford fans were silent - Couldn't tell the sound was off. 😂

Come on Tomkins, silence them!

Well yeah, most people that don't know much about RL won't know Robbie has been talking rubbish for the majority of the game.

I respectfully suggest he knows slightly more about the game than you?

I don't even need to know much about the game to know that he has contradicted himself numerous times.

He said Salford were ontop and had good energy, then went on to say that they don't have the energy, but don't need it as they have players like McDonald who can produce moments.

He's also mispronounced numerous names, didn't know we had a Tareeeeq Sims playing.

Haha, once again we know that Salford will score as the ball is moved from the scrum because of the un-synced sound.

Poor technical work by whoever's in charge of that.

Oh.. It sounded like they just reset the crowd noise - Perhaps our ears will be OK

Yeah, that kick sounded much better audio wise!

Remember this is a game where every player is “dynamic” - as they should be.

Semantics.

I agree he's not the greatest but he is not as bad as all that. He's clearly enthusiastic and that counts for a lot.

Back to the game though and it doesn't look like it's Catalans day....

I'm talking about the quality of his commentating, not sure what else you would expect. I said people that don't know much about RL probably won't know he is talking rubbish a lot of the time, or at least not adding anything particularly great to anything. (Considering his pedigree)

Just got in from the warrington game  are salford deserving of their lead?

They've taken their chances but Catalans haven't helped themselves.

There is no enthusiasm from the commentators either. I had looked away from the game and not even realised Catalan had scored until I noticed it was noticably quiet.

I think they have fixed the sound issue. Catalans scored and I didn't hear the crowd beforehand.

Only took them an hour...
