Will be interesting to see what direction the coaching goes in for 2026, does Haggerty get it to continue the Rowley philosophy or does a coach come in from the outside and get to put their own stamp on things? Either way, as an opposition fan I’d always prefer to come up against a Salford team not coached by Paul Rowley.

Great news this. Keeps the vultures away.

It does, and I definitely see how this is preferable to losing him entirely but I think this comes at a cost because Salford are an inherently worse team without Rowleys direct coaching input.

Great news.

This will mean an appointment from within and the attacking style of play will be pushed into the DNA of the club.

Great move

Peace  off leeds you robbing barStewards. You've had enough from us over the past 12 months.

Rowley could have his pick of almost any coaching job in the SL so for him to be staying on at Salford in a different role suggests maybe the club is brewing something very interesting and attractive.
