You think you're getting him back from NRL if he "kicks on"? Good luck with that!

There's every chance his indifferent recent form has been caused by being unsettled, NRL interest and wanting away. Just a thought.

Crooks had a very good understanding with Lineham which may have continued to develop.
Sadly Lineham has missed a large part of the season through injury which IMO stifled Crooks and lead to his plummet in form.
We have a rake of other youngsters coming through the ranks and maybe young Logan is considered a better option (nice brace against Leeds) than Crooks?
If he improves and shines in the NRL then good luck to him and if he decides to come back then Hull have first option!
Can't see what the fuss is about tbh.

In Topic: Travis Burns.

HKR signed Burns to replace Green, who they didn't want to leave, who did the double with Wigan as an integral part of their team (GF MOTM I think?) and now heads back to NRL.

HKR now start again replacing Burns, who they didn't want to leave.

If they get a "keeper" he will again be sold against their wishes to a bigger team (and some on here will applaud this as "good business").

And on and on and on and on....

Meanwhile, HKR's fanbase dwindles and SL grows ever more lopsided.

It is a desperate situation.

If HKR wanted to keep Green and Burns then why have they sold them?
I think it's purely finances and both offers were too good to turn down.
Rather than blaming other clubs, perhaps you should look closer to home and ask questions of HKR's policies, financies and shortfalls?
You can't blame a player or rival club if the offer is better than the deal being proffered by your own!
If anyone knows what Burns had been offered to stay at the club not wanting him to leave I'd be very surprised if the terms were as good as the deal Saints have given him.

Interesting. Burns' move is confirmed less than 48 hours after I heard Chris Chester on the BBC telling us Burns was going nowhere until the club had recruited a superior replacemt.

omg - Will that be the first Nun ever to play RL ??

Looking forward to seeing him in an Eels "jumper".

Will the last elite player out of Hull please turn out the lights.

Are you referring to Travis Burns? 😉
