Sounds like a good game and great effort by both sides, particularly Hemel.Hope things can now quieten down and both Clubs continue to grow rugby league in their areas.Good times ahead for both Clubs I believe.

I too can see both sides of the argument but essentially it is the problem of playing in a national league on basically amateur terms.I suppose Gateshead have won the right to play when they wish but I can see that the final decision should have been made earlier.Unfortunately, they are both amongst my favourite teams for what they have achieved against the odds.

Leeds Carnegie RU,sorry Yorkshire Carnegie, played Cornish Pirates last sunday afternoon with a 4.30pm finish.Yorkshire CCC often finish playing at Hove/Bristol one evening and start the next day at Headingley/Scarborough.Look at many of the Football Conference fixtures, with minor clubs travelling the length of the country on a tues/wed evening.
