  1. DWZ over in SL would be great. Less convinced by Tupou. Has Makinson signed there as DWZ, Makinson, Tupou and Handley is a bit strange.
  2. I don’t necessarily agree. Managing the squad to hit peak form before the big games, particularly towards the end of the year, is critical. You have a big game coming up in the SF…
  3. An absolute thumping in that second half… Well done Hull KR. Ball movement, like against Salford and Warrington, killed us. But we were also beaten up down the middle. Pretty weird to be saying but without Walmsley (plus Paasi and LMS), our props are too small. Well beaten by a very good side.
  4. The only time Saints have been entertaining to watch in the last 10yrs was under Holbrook. It wasn’t particularly pretty under Woolf - a brutally efficient rugby team though.
  5. Everton were excellent (said through gritted teeth). Well done to them. Not sure Klopp’s departure is the root issue. Liverpool have not performed since the City home game. The loss of form in key players like Salah, Núñez and the loss of Jota with injury has completely stopped the challenge. Those two - Salah and Núñez - have been awful. Work rate on both plus their finishing has been horrific. You simply can’t do that when trying to compete against City.
  6. That’s Liverpool done in the title race. Absolutely fallen apart in the last month.
  7. I hope it is NZ rather than Australia. Ride the Wahs wave and launch NZ2 (Christchurch) into the NRL straight after.
  8. Davies for Hall. Great business by Hull KR.
  9. From a Saints perspective, I much prefer Welsby at 6. Lomax or Dodd at 7. Benninson however, in that structure is not the answer at 1; not quick enough nor does he have the right level of ball playing ability to make up for the lack of pace. Solid performance from us against a hard working young Hull side (some positive signs with some of those young kids). I do wish Wellens had used the opportunity to blood at least one of our young outside backs though. A missed opportunity.
  10. I honestly don’t think I have ever seen anything as stupid and ridiculous as that drop out.
