Great day for all involved. Not the result we wanted but no complaints from IRB. Could have gone either way but Judes snatched victory. Great advert for the community game.

Longhorns are a very ambitious and well run club. I really hope the RFL back them and support them. We had the pleasure of hosting them in the Challenge Cup and it was a uplifting to deal with people so enthusiastic about our game.

Featherstone where fantastic host to IRB today. The result was as expected but that didn't detract from a great day. Good luck in the next round from all at IRB

Got to admit, I thought the box park at Wembley atmosphere was superb with 3 - 80 year olds emblazoned in leopard skin . Couldn't see that many centurions turning up. Perhaps Shandy Bass !!!!! -

Being brutally honest ,it's time we realised that the game we all love is gone. The commitment of players is no longer there. I wish I could offer a solution but unfortunately I can't. If anyone can offer an opinion please post any ideas.

What a heart wrenching watch that was. Everyone of his family should be proud of the legacy that Rob has left His family are a credit to him and the love is clear to see. RIP and God bless.

If this involved a community club, would stronger sanctions would have applied ?

Played at both teams many years ago and had a good craic at both. Good news that they are pushing forward but they are not alone in struggling for players. It is a real shame that both can't retain their own identity at open age level. A great initiative from both parties though.

NRL Las Vegas Adventure
chisholm replied to The British Lion's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
It has certainly got the interest going, a party of our lads are going to Vegas for this one. -
It was my first visit to Huddersfield for a game and I a m afraid it wasn't a great experience There was no atmosphere at all pre game and the stadium it self needs a bit of TLC, but the staff and stewards were efficient and friendly. Game was as expected and i thought the England defence was superb and we should alll be proud of Waney and his squad as they did us proud. On a final note we stayed in the ground to salute the players after the final whistle but unfortunately only half of the team took timeout to thank the fans . A lot of disappointed youngsters in our area. Enjoyed the game itself but a poor choice of venue for what should be one of the season highlights.
