IIRC rightly, there was a clause written into our deal with Saints that they'd pay us a sum if Alex made the England team.

It'll be a surprise if McNamara ever did the right thing. One plus though, he won't be able to keep picking Sinfield as an international half-back!

Walmsley and McGilvary are in the SL dream team. I don't think that we can take any kudos for McGilvary who was on the Giants books when he played for us; but it's good to see two players with Batley connections achieving dream team status. Dave Craven in the Yorkshire Post made a point, and not for the first time, of describing Walmsley as the ex Batley Bulldogs prop.
