100% effort from all the players today. When Dewsbury put four subs on after 20 minutes they were on the back foot, that was their trump card and our lads stepped up to the mark. Well done you should all be proud and fear nobody in this division. Not saying we'll win every match but by playing like that every opposition will know they've been in a game and what it's like to play against a 'TEAM with true spirit and the heart of a Lion'. Thought Danny Langtree deserved a mention. He was my man of the match, he looked to be carrying his shoulder a bit in the second half as well. But still managed to pull off a treble in defence.

What a team we have here. Every single player gives everything they possibly have every single week and has backed it up over three different seasons now. You simply cant ask for any more than this.

 

Was quite disappointed in Dewsbury. Poor attitude right from the start as it looked like they felt they would win easily and then when we got in front they seemed to lose the plot.

 

Was massively surprised Crowley didn't start but in the end I think it was the right move as the ball ended up being spread around far more than normal. I think Josh is so good at carrying the ball forward that sometimes we do it far too much and neglect other areas.

 

Owen was outstanding and my man of the match and absolutely killed them at the ptb. Langtree was brilliant again and those three tackles with one arm as saintscoach said was fantastic. Hope he's o.k for next week.Palfrey again kicked excellently aside from one charge down that cost us the yellow card. Everyone else was simply excellent and looking forward to next week already.

We often put four subs on around the twenty minute mark, so that was not unusual, but it made no difference. Your TEAM performed really well and we just had some individuals for our worst performance so far and a captain who used his mouth more than his hands or feet. You also managed to keep our pack quiet, especially Groat, but you probably knew about him from last season at Donny.
