SQUAD FOR 2019

Bring back GB

Recommended Posts

I'd say sign that French prop we had back end of last season and another prop and we have a complete squad.

Maybe a couple on loan from Wigan as I'm sure there was some clauses in the Bullock deal about getting 1st choice on loan players.

Stack will miss 1st half of season due to injury so maybe another 2nd rower whilst he is injured.

Amean will probably be 1st choice full back.

Deon Cross is a winger.

I imagine Ritson will start on the wing with Creswell and Toal injured. He's absolutely lightning. Cresswell can obviously cover wing and full back.

When everyone is fit the competition in the backs will be fierce.

Judging on the current squad a favoured starting 17 could look something like this:

1. Ritson

2. S.Toal

3. Hulme

4. Spedding

5. Amean

6. Dallimore

7. Charnock

8. Walker

9. Puara

10. Duffy

11. Smith

12. Stack

13. Aspinwall

14. Mossop

15. D.Toal

16. Riley

17. Hock

That 17 with the possibility of a few loans and all the other lads we have signed on, and with hopefully keeping everyone fit, will hopefully push for top 6 ?

Get Bartez back. Going forward, he worried every team he played against last season. Plus his tackling and commitment was 100%.

Oscar Thomas didn't get going at the Eagles, for some reason some supporters didn't take to him but I think he can play. I suspect a player who'll come back and have a great game against his old club.

Simon Brown fell out of favour (some supporters think unfairly). Can be really good on the day, still popular at Sheffield.

....Menzie Yere doesn't have a contract but I don't think he would travel that far.

Good luck with whoever you sign.

Signed another png international Willie minoga aka "the freight train"

He looks a handful on that highlights YouTube video. I take it all Visa paperwork has been sorted for the 3 PNG lads before the announcements as I seem to remember that's what went wrong in 2009 for the Fijians that were supposed to arrive.
