Two brothers and a cousin involved. None old enough to dive so someone must have driven them there. Possibly not the brothers; parents who "were informed" of their bodies being found.

The rules:

People from different households must not meet in a private home or garden. You must not:

  • host people you do not live with in your home or garden, unless they’re in your support bubble
  • meet people you do not live with in their home or garden
  • travel outside of these areas to meet people in their home or garden

Your household is only the people you live with, or people within your support bubble. A support bubble is where a household with one adult joins with any other household. Households within a bubble can still visit each other, stay overnight, and visit public places together.

And in the same rules -

In Kirklees, you can:

  • Socialise in outside public places (like parks) in groups of up to 6 people from multiple households.
  • Socialise in outdoor public spaces in gatherings larger than but only if everyone is from 2 households or support bubbles. You should always socially distancefrom people outside of your household.

Blackpool isn't a home or garden in Kirklees.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Oh and a quite explicit rule -

Can I travel outside of my area?

You can still go on holiday outside of your area, but you can only do this with people you live with (or have formed a support bubble with).

I'm not getting into a hypothetical argument. The circumstances will emerge at the inquest.

You hypothesised the circumstances of how these kids went to Blackpool?

I thought it was an odd thing to be brought up, a tragic story to highlight rulebreaking.

But then I read the article and noticed something about the two boys.

I'll leave it at that.

'Should try' is not a no.

If I'm proved wrong, I'll apologise. If I'm proved right, you might say nothing. That's often the way of things amongst the claque.

Just asking if these were the most up to date rules, recommendations etc.

People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.

I was quoting from Kirklees Council and the Gov.uk pages, so I'd hope they were the most up to date rules/recomendations.

I've just deleted a load more posts that are more relevant to the political forum than in here, despite repeated requests.

Bottom line is this:

If you want to discuss the MEDICAL aspects and impact of coronavirus, do it here.

If you want to discuss the societal impact of coronavirus, in the UK or anywhere else, and how various governments, businesses etc are dealing with it, including ALL aspects of lockdown policy, do it in the coronavirus thread in the politics sub forum.

Thank you.

I am clearly talking to myself here.
