The Doggies played hard when they took on parra in the first game and I will go for the upset here as Manly do not strike me as a top half side. - Much rejoycing in Western Sydney.

Not good by the Doggies, in trying to break down the defence, Manly had a surgeon's Knife, The Doggies a blunt instrument. No creativity whasoever and as bad as St George yesterday.

The only memorable thing in the game was the rentition of show me the way to Avarillo (props to Tony Christie) by the commentary team once the Bulldogs scored. .
