McManus has changed his tune. He wasn't happy with the previous arrangement with the RFL and isn't happy with how Elstone has ran things either?

he'd fit in well on here with the perpetual naysayers then

Bernard Manning lives! Welcome to be New RFL, the sport's answer to the Wheeltappers and Shunters Social Club.

Don't know if it was mentioned elsewhere but Elstone was on Radio Manchester last night, He put Jack Dearden right when he said there are 2 governing bodies. Elstone role is to market SL.

Surely his role as CEO should be a little more than a glorified marketing manager.

He changed the rules of the game ffs, he can't abdicate responsibility like that.

100%.

If he's pretending that's the extent of his role then I hope Deardon pushed back because off  the top of my head a more comprehensive answer is that he's there to administer the competition, grow its revenues and audiences, deliver a new tv deal and explore new financing options.

Or is this another example of him, to borrow a phrase, shape shifting to avoid being held accountable for what he has or hasn't done?

it was the RL Hour 5pm on a Sunday.

He said a lot more but off the top of my head I can't recall. I am sure the interview is availble.

Well Elstone wasn't done much a job marketing the game so far

Anyone know how much money he's brought into Super League since his appointment 3 years ago?
