How did Hicks not spot that tackle without the ball?

Just got in after watching the game in the pub with the sound off. Can’t believe there is no mention of the trip on the Salford defender who would have tackled the Cas scorer of their 2nd try. And no

I really hope I am wrong, but I fear that Cas will overwhelm Salford. Although I don't support Salford, I admire the club for its determination to keep going against the odds and against what seems to

That’s the thing. Macca playing in an underfunded side. Where the owner isn’t interested. And still gets Man of Steel.

I do wish the Sky team would stop trying to prove that the ref has made mistakes and concentrate on the game itself.

That's what I meant. Listening to Sky you'd think every pass was forward... Even when it clearly wasn't.

Four legs good - two legs bad

Well Cas player marches up to Greenwood and head butts him.  The pace of it is relevant but ref just talks to him like Joyce Grenfell.

Then a poor tackle for good measure later on.

Didn't see much wrong with that tackle.

Ref said it was dangerous.

But he wasn't lifted above the horizontal so I thought it was a tough one to be on the end of but fair according to the rules.

I thought there was a bit of a Josh Hodgson thing going on with Paul McShane in the first half. Over-dominant hooker-half type stuff.

McShane is good enough to run a team, Hodgson isn’t
