Could someone please provide some brief biographical detail of Mr Belfield?  In my long gone youth, I was a pal of a Brian Belfield and my fading memory of the 1950’s recalls only perhaps a link to either Milnrow and/or Littleborough?

Yes Brian was such a wonderful man and a Hornet through and through. He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts go out to his family.
