DaveButt Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Very sad news of the passing of Brian Belfield Not only a true Hornet but a true gentleman. Our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time R.I.P. Brian
Anita Bath Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Terrible news. Nothing to add to your description. I hope the club are able to 'mark' his passing in some way
glemiln Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Could someone please provide some brief biographical detail of Mr Belfield? In my long gone youth, I was a pal of a Brian Belfield and my fading memory of the 1950’s recalls only perhaps a link to either Milnrow and/or Littleborough? Thanks in anticipation.
E.Thickett Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 I was saddened to hear about Brian. He was always a top man.
ornit4ever Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Yes Brian was such a wonderful man and a Hornet through and through. He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts go out to his family. RIP Brian RUGBY LEAGUE WITHOUT ROCHDALE HORNETS IS LIKE AN UNSHARPENED PENCIL, THERES NO POINT?
Brummie Hornet Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 RIP to another Hornets stalwart. A true ‘quiet’ gent who will be missed. Condolences to his family
E.Thickett Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 A message for the authors of The Hornets book. I have printed the tribute to Brian from the club website and attached it to my copy as a permanent reminder. Can you do something similar with any books that you sell in the future? Eric Thickett
