RogerT Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 i managed to find it and only £3.90 each way a bus back from the centre or long walk from Deighton, not checked out Arriva buses yet. Yes I might be going.
Keep The Faith Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 I’ll be there for my first time in 2022… I think it will be a test for our squad with numbers down with a few niggles but it’s all about getting the systems and structural issues in place before the big start next Sunday Vs Halifax which could be a cracker http://tombatley.wordpress.com/ Give it a read..

Yes I might be going. I might involve a train journey, take advantage of my student rail card!
RogerT Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 Now booked on the train and thanks to my bus pass I got the return trip for £3.25, now that's brilliant.
ernieone Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 A 50 points to 6 defeat, did not go so cannot comment on the performance. 1950s Gallant Youth, 2000 Bulldog
Keep The Faith Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 I thought we looked okay until a 50/50 on Hooley which cost us 18 points before HT… Second half we just defended more than we will all year http://tombatley.wordpress.com/ Give it a read..
distantdog Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 They were good, and had more replacements than the starting 13 so with 30 minutes to go just constantly rotated fast fit lads with fast fit lads. Lot of defending done and we were clearly trying our moves and players in different positions. Gilmore didn't play the last half hour either. It was good to see some rugby, and the result will have no bearing on either teams' seasons.
Kevin Nicholas Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 The score was perhaps a bit harsh but i thought we looked promising apart from a few errors and it is better the week before our Big game that we are tested rather than play a team that is weaker than Fax will be and get a win. So despite score i thought it was a good game to watch.

RogerT Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 What a cold souless stadium that is at Huddersfield I have only just thawed out completly, never again.
