London Skolars has now been bought by an Australian consortium.
Subject to RFL approval they should be in place for this season.  More comments on the main forum.

Guess not a few Aussies will join the new club and provide wider interest in our cup tie.

Cornwall v Mayfield

Saturday 25 February at the Memorial Ground in Penryn, with a 1pm kick-off – on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport Online.

Fantastic win by the Field. Lets make it Two Rochdale Wins.

We got better as the game went on. Once the forwards got going it was one way traffic. The team is still taking shape really. Hewitt MOM. I thought we had a good goal kicker in Tyrer last season but Hewitt was flawless today. Some of the conversions off the touchline were tremendous. Let’s see who we get next in the draw.

It was tough on the Skolars having to get here from London for a 1-00 pm kick off. I believe they left London at 7-00 am. A 6 hr plus coach journey isn’t ideal preparation for a game of Rugby League. Still we’ll have to do the same later this season.

Hornets/Dewsbury and Mayfield/Leigh Miners.  Rochdale clubs away in the next round and hopefully both reach the 4th round.  Ours will be a good game to help with the opening home league game v Donny the following week.

We play Donny at home this Sunday apparently.

From Horbury Ram:

Thanks to the hard work of our Groundsman Paul Moore and all of the volunteers who helped yesterday today’s game against Rochdale

is ON.

Now you can turn up in your thousands (as will we!!!) and enjoy a match in balmy temperatures.

Legs, Dews, Legs.
