A new club, looking to clean up the mess left by Worcester Jaguars and hoping to rebuild the sport’s reputation in the city has been set up.

Worcester Rebels RLFC will play a series of ‘merit’ fixtures out of Worcester RFC - just off the M5 and opposite Sixways stadium.

Give the club a follow on Facebook to follow their progress.

The man running it ran it in every wrong way possible. Burned bridges with many individuals and groups and made all-round horrific decisions.

Many a story for another time.

Yes, we’re watching how that one unfolds with great interest. I’m surprised they let him anywhere near it but time will tell.

Is there bad blood between Birmingham Bulldogs and Midlands Hurricanes?

Sorry for posting here, I did not want to start a new thread and this one was the most recent of any Midlands-related topic.

See comments above. Let's just say Bulldogs seem to be trying their best to alienate as many people as possible. When you've already annoyed most of the clubs in your division its probably not a good idea to have digs at your local professional club.

Sorry for also posting here, though there is a tenuous link. Hope all is going well at Worcester Rebels

Looks like he is carrying on where he left off, stand by for a move of grounds before long.
