England lions U17 v France u17

Recommended Posts

Today at Victoria park Warrington,

The French team arrived on Thursday by bus then went straight to the St Helens game,

Touching moment yesterday at the shirt presentation as Konrad hurrell gave a speech and Laurent fraysinous presented his son with his match shirt.

Allez les bleus 😁

Is this being streamed live? I think the match is 12h00 UK time

Wow that's some result for the French

The French are consistently strong at junior level.  Some real talent.

Are the FRAYSSINOUS and BANQUET lads the sons of the former players, Laurent and Freddy?

Any other sons of people we know ??

Merci !

If you look back at barnyia’s OP Jim he mentions that Laurent Frayssinous gave a speech to the French lads and presented his son with his shirt. I don’t know about M. Banquet’s status although a quick google suggests he’s not Freddy’s son.

Alan - there seemed a big diffence between the U17s & the Under 19s teams. The earlier England Academy teams all from  SL clubs. The French U19s didn't even come from Elite 1/ 2.

The U 17s seemed as the opposite to the U19s - French on top. Where did the English lads come from?

My understanding is this is the Community Lions so players not in the pro Scholarship or Academy programmes.

Yes that's it, they can only play against what's put in front of them 😁

The 19s did quite well against the academy

I agree.  I love seeing competitive junior games between England and France.
