We've had our jokers too, a couple last season, but our luck has changed. However we are not alone in that fact, the majority of SL have the same luck, best example is Huddersfield.

Without a doubt and I think its great and on the whole I think Wakey fans have been fantastic but there is one or two who have a bit of a cheek to act like their club is the saviour of the Championship when the reality is they were probably one relegation away from going belly up if it had happened in previous years.

Infact imagine if Wakey had been unlucky and instead of getting someone like Matt Ellis they ended up with a bunch of jokers who have little idea what they are doing and broke numerous promises like Halifax did. Its amazing how much luck can play in a teams fortunes over the short term.

No one was gloating, instead you were chelping at Wakey.

We know the dice have finally rolled in our favour, and we are grateful.

At least under Carter we were stable. Stable and poor on the field, as he wouldn't spend money we didn't have.

As painful as that was, it left a club behind that was attractive enough for someone like Matt Ellis to take over.

No-one is claiming Wakey have "saved" the Championship, but if you are blind to the effect of the travelling support, there's nothing else to say.

As mentioned earlier in this thread KYLE AMOR has said that the money and support from Wakey will ensure they see out this year.

Why do you seek to find the negative in that??

How condescending. 🙄

What’s condescending is you. Trying to turn something positive into something negative.

The Trinity fans applauded the Haven team all game knowing the effort put in to even get the game to go ahead.

They were applauded coming out, halftime, during their try and when leaving.

Nothing condescending and the Haven players were clapping back in appreciation.

Condescending my harris. Those 15 guys from Haven gave it their all today against overwhelming odds. Their efforts were rightly appreciated by the crowd and the majority applauded to show this.

Would all the Wakefield fans have applauded if 'havens late score was the match winner? 🤔

Of course not, but it wasn't and the players who were out there deserved it for the thankless task they were given yesterday.

Think this season in the Championship has been great for Wakefield and the rest of the Championship with their travelling support.

Fully agree , as it was with leigh , hull kr and many regular champ teams whose fans travel on a regular basis
