If you're asking "who?", she's a USA women's 7s player who has gained a cult following. She has graced the cover of Sports Illustrated and came second in the American version of Dancing With the Stars. She's just signed a contract to play XVs for Bristol Bears.

Honestly, even if she's not a top NRLW level player she's worth it for marketing alone.

Hadn’t realised her contract with Bristol was so short.

It’s been a very visible move in the media here. Probably the most visible domestic RU story right now.

NRLW is pretty savvy in promoting their own stars, not sure they need a player of totally unproven ability......

For instance, NRLW is circulating this recent Instagram snap of a loved-up Titans, NSW and Jillaroos flyer Jaime Chapman with young Dolphins star Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow. Best FB comment against the photo - "For the love of God if there’s a child ensure it’s born in NSW" 😆

May be an image of 1 person, blonde hair, beard and text

So this thread is about a female Union player who has just signed for Union club Bristol Bears?  Ok?

We know you've been in a pretty bad mood since all the Salford stuff, but come on.

You could try looking at the post.

You seem to be in a duller mood than normal. Yes that's what the thread's about, and she has said she would like to play in the NRLW. OK?

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Yes, and one that had a bigger social media presence than basically every rugby league team on earth.

I'm glad you're keeping up. I thought I was going to have to get the finger puppets out again.

In all honesty if it’s not about Goole or a new stand at Wakefield after 30 years of drawings I’m not that interested?  Just skim stuff….

She's the biggest name in women's Rugby Union and apparently a phenomenal athlete.

The NRLW is the natural destination for her.

I think being a 7s player she's likely much closer to what you need in League than a XVs player would be too. Be good to see her in the NRLW.

There have already been a few Sevens players from the last Olympics who have switched codes. I suppose they looked at the alternative and came to the obvious conclusion.

Her skills look completely compatible - she has genuine size and enough pace to excel in whatever version of 'rugby' she chooses.
