Shout out to Levi Atiga, had a tough game last week but looked a lot better today, very strong with ball in hand. 

Maybe wishful thinking and it was hard to tell today but Levi looks I big strong lad and can shift.

Exactly what I was thinking. Give him some nice dry ground and I think he’ll be a tremendous finisher. Made a lot of yards after contact.

2 questions please:-

Who was our 15 last week? Also looked classy.

Do we play Leigh Friday Feb 7th as says on BBC website ?  as away that weekend!

Cole Walker Taylor is our number 15.

Not sure on the date for the Leigh game, although their SL season starts on the following Thursday so I can imagine we'll play Fri or Saturday

From a Finance point of view for the Club I think Saturday afternoon kick off would be better as there would be a lot less away support for a Friday night game.

Town-Leigh on Saturday and Haven-Wire on the Sunday would work for all involved

Was chuffed to see Philips back yesterday, and he did well, carter will make a big difference to the team, personally think that was a good run out for the lads even tho playing in them testing conditions, thankfully the Ike game will have fetched in decent cash to help fund yesterday's game, and the Leigh game should do the same, these games are vital  for cash flow at this time of the year for the clubs.

Good professional performance yesterday I thought, after a poor showing against haven it was the perfect game to bounce back. Could have easily took the amateurs lightly but thought our attitude was great and completed sets well especially in those terrible conditions. Nice to see the tries spread out between the new lads too, confidence builder and hopefully the start of some momentum going forward.

Haven have announced their match is Saturday, I'm guessing ours will be Friday night giving Leigh more time as they play the following Thursday I think.
