Rugby Boots Discussion

seriously.. if the boot fits its fine.. try it on and see how it feels.. in the end everyone's feet are different and what people want from a boot are different.. Canterbury are a good make so the quality should be fine so after that its very personal..

now go and take a long hard look at yourself for missing Harry's point!

The last time most posters on here wore rugby boots ,they had to nail the studs on before they took to the field.

Most rugby league players wear soccer boots rather than rugby boots.

They are designed for the other code rather than RL.HTH

Has anyone used adidas Mens Predator Incurza?

How do they fit?

Tight.

Better going for Gola Toeprodders.  Expensive but that revolutionary strap across the laces looks the business.

Should one get half size larger?

Yep, at our age anything with Velcro is preferable.

Yes.  The Toeprodder Pro does come in half sizes.  Expensive though, but JJB are doing them with free dubbin.

Getting a larger size would certainly stop you falling forwards.

This is a very old fashioned idea but your best bet is to go to a shop and try them on... everyone’s feet are different hence loads of different style of boot... no point asking people who are not the same...

i did always like the hitec clodhoppers myself..

You mean you don't nail the studs on any more?  For goodness sake, when did that happen?

Just heard about it, apparently you can now screw studs in.

Sounds like witchcraft to me.

What a world we live in.

Thank you for your valuable contribution.
