The broncos squad was top heavy with young talent that had implications for salary cap moving forward. He scored 17 tries in one season after which holbrook decided to move him to Centre. That was a disaster. He is doing what he sees as best for his career and family. Good luck to him…he has always conducted himself in a professional manner and avoided the ‘headlines’ . He has probably taken a pay cut to move to Roosters but he probably wants to go to a contender at this stage of his career and he, like many others, dont place the Titans in that category.

With an almost blank slate of games in the league this weekend (why I wonder) there is a big game locally in the NCL. Mayfield at home to West Hull, 3 v 2, Should be a good un.

They werent led by Vlandys 30 years ago were they? 30 years ago we had great britain and kangaroo tours. If it doesnt make money for NRL it wont happen under Vlandys NRL

NRL cant get teams up and running in three of its 6 states so I struggle to see them entering the London market. NRL is money driven whether that money is based on taxpayers funding (PNG) or current market opportunities ( NZ 2)

Hornets have the same lease they had before the sale. Hopefully with a few new faces on the board there might be a more positive attitude towards the relationship.
