  1. Clive was a great coach…inspired the Aussies.
  2. so its not two groups…its a six team group with an unbalanced schedule. with top two qualifying as in group A. All will be revealed….in December…maybe.
  3. Not quite....what if every team in group B loses every game...they are all tied on zero points but the top of that group (points difference) qualifies while the three teams in group C are all tied on 6 points and only 1 qualifies. Back to the drawing board!
  4. Would be interesting to know the converse of what this map is about. What % of english population live more than 100 miles (arbitrary distance I know) from a current professional or semi professional rugby league club. Hard to fathom how we can get vast areas of the country interested when they have limited opportunities to watch the game.
  5. No, I think they want England to have some chance of getting through so in the same group as Tonga would be my guess. Shame we cant have a real ‘draw’ with balls in a bag instead of back door scheming.
  6. I notice you didnt specify the year…Ill have a stab at it……2096.
  7. David Fifita released from remainder of his contract by Titans. Wasted talent…goes back to them trying to turn him into a centre.
  8. David Fifita released from remainder of his contract by Titans….it has been a wasted 3 years for him. With hindsight he should definitely stuck to that Roosters contract he reneged on. Hopefully some club will be able to get him back to elite status.
  9. I dont think its preparation....It was the (much changed) kangaroos first game in a year and included 4 debutants. Preparation is one thing but skill levels are something else and we are behind on that. Probably at every position.
  10. Its a regionalised sport in Australia.
  11. Yes different groups but each team in groups B and C only play teams in the other group so they play each other but can both finish as group winners and semi finalists. With Aus and NZ in Group A with two to qualify for the SF looks like England could be on the outside looking in, unless they up their game.
  12. Wot no Bradford? They have a top stadium you know …and like other clubs mentioned they have excellent access to the M62.
  13. Or "other nationalities' even!
