I hope clubs go one step further and insist on supplying match reports, with a bit of luck the idiotic saturation coverage the dumb sport gets will be cut down to what the excuse for a sport deserves, none.

As long is it isn't used as a military base it isn't a problem, Skiathos airport is one of the islands best tourist attractions.

The flightpath is straight in over the sea, the start of the runway is about 100 yards from the waters edge, the photographs are taken from the road that runs between the end of the runway and the sea.

It is the closest I have ever been to any aircraft landing and taking off.
