ultimate roughyed
Reckon we might be able to sneak one victory out of 3 games, question is, can you? If you lose your last remaining home game next week against Swinton you really are in the mix for relegation. Reckon Swinton will turn you over as they won't want to be going away to Toulouse and having to win to stay up. Can you beat Sheffield away? Unlikely. However, if your lives depended on it surely you could get a result at Bradford (Swinton managed it). All getting very exciting. Your next match is massive. Win and you are probably safe, lose and you might be 2nd from bottom if we can sneak a win against Toulouse who don't travel well.
Yed17
With Oldham and Swinton finding a bit of form, i think Rochdale are really in the mix now. Would prefer none of our local clubs to go down but feel yesterdays game may have a huge bearing on the season now!
mickhornet
Watch the Dewsbury - Lions highlights. An Oldham win would be on the cards if Dews played like that at Bower Fold. Its up to us.
Anita Bath
Have Dewsbury and Sheffield got anything to play for now - they cannot go down and difficult to see them making top 2 (please dont tell me there is a top four play off for a shield!). Oh for the days when each team played each other home and away and the teams that finished bottom went down and those finishing top went up. glemiln
Well, our challenge just got harder: Ben Moores (Rochdale) plead not guilty to a Grade C Other Contrary Behaviour charge but was found guilty. The player was suspended for three matches and fined £100. This on top of his current suspension - end of season for the lad! Gary Middlehurst (Rochdale) was found guilty of a Grade B Tripping charge. The player was suspended for two matches and fined £100. Of course we have injuries too, inc. Jono Smith who suffered a bad head shot (allegedly!) Monday, which was only put on report and we will be missing Massam until next season. And no doubt a few bruises from Monday. We shall have to hope for losses for both Oldham & Swinton next week, who then will battle it out for probable relegation!
mickhornet
What did Ben Moores do? Do they publicise details.
glemiln
Quote What did Ben Moores do? Do they publicise details. Not a clue Mick, but I guess his current suspension did him no favours. Perhaps the best detail, from a recent disciplinary - from ex Hornets & Oldham player Dale Bloomfield - " Player disputes decision (questioned the linesman on its validity) and appeals to Touch Judge. Player uses foul language, however has not abused Touch Judge. Sin Bin Sufficient" ! Need a laugh after Monday.
Little Lion Man
All charges are fully disclosed on RFL website "Opponent scores a try and the player runs in and makes unnecessary contact with the opponent. The player had a clear view of the opponent scoring but continues to run in aggressively and jumps – with his knee extended – into the opponent making forceful contact. The opponent spins in an effort to avoid the contact. This was an unnecessary act that had the potential for serious injury and is graded at Grade B" from RFL disciplinary website. Apparently he pleaded guilty (by email) and did not attend hearing. I don't mind stealing bread from the mouths of decadence."Be mindful of the prayers you send,Pray hard but pray with care,For the tears that you are crying now,Are just your answered prayers"

Yes but according to Kilshaw after the game, he didn't throw a punch so it was okay, he was perplexed as to why he was reprimanded during the game! glemiln
In the post match interview, our Coach said that Jono had another concussion and a badly broken nose, which could rule him out for the season. Let's hope it's better prognosis than thought.

excolt
If we get relegated It will be mostly down to lack of discipline which in turn leads to refs going against us, so the players owe their coach and themselves and mostly the supporters a win on Sunday at the least. mickhornet
Think youre right, that and no kicker. What the hell happened after the win at Oldham to produce such a woeful display? .Definitely drinking in the last chance saloon, but we're not dead yet.'' excolt
Ben Moores got a 3 game ban for time wasting when Hornets where 34 points down late in the game! You couldn't make it up.

roughyed34
Err nope, Galbraith was rightly sin binned and got sin bin sufficient for bringing down the Oldham player illegally. Player running back at speed across the field to make tackle on opponent who has made a break. As opponent changes direction, player slips in front of opponent who tries to jump over player. Player reaches towards opponent with arm. Player has not tripped opponent however the contact did result in opponent going to ground. Sin Bin Sufficient. Tyrone Shoelaces
In the unlikely event of the Swinton v Oldham game being a draw we should be ok. Oldham then play Dewsbury who've racked their cue for the season after giving us a couple of beatings and have reverted to their early season easy beat status. Swinton have to go to Toulouse, who may or may not put out a full team. Obviously whoever wins next week will be in the driving seat.
excolt
Great effort today, much needed but a contrived draw next week then the impossible. Could happen. Swinton have the best points difference by far and could win at Toulouse for who the game means nothing and same for Oldham, should we lose at Sheffield and Bradford thn its down to oints diff at the moment we are 42 better than Oldham, surely not! Get down to Ladbrokes, you'd get great odds for that scenario ! Why should Swinton play for a draw when a win means they are as good as safe.
