I was in the South stand and it looked forward even from there, but then when they showed the replay on the screen I thought it looked ok. I think Talanoa stooping forward to catch it made it look worse than it was.

Catalans last try was a strange one. Shaul held him up over the line and someone else came in to help, then there was what seemed like an hour (more likely 5 or 6 seconds) of wrestling and rolling about on the floor until he finally spun away from Shaul and put it down. I dont think I have ever seen a player allowed so much time to get it down.

On the game itself. Catalans have real issues. Hull bombed chances, made basic errors in exit sets, and just generally looked a bit sloppy and disjointed, and yet racked up 42 points. I dont really know where they go from here.
