Hopefully we can put in a competitive 80 minutes.

Should be a lot closer then some results we've had against Dewsbury.

Aye, and if Dewsbury win it will boost IMG points for Fev when Coolie spends all week on Fev fans forum.😂😂😂

He doesn't need an excuse  😉 .

York fans will be praying for us to beat you🤔

It will give them a week off from me in their forum🤣🤣🤣

I'll strike a deal

If Dewsbury Rams manage to beat Featherstone I won't go on the Featherstone forum for a month

(the chances of that happening are about the same as Man City losing to West Ham) 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Don't bet on it we're not bad ( no recognised scrum half) but not the team of the past few seasons, personally enjoying not being favourites every week and this team are giving their all and it shows.

There's a very true line in what you said

Your enjoying not been favourites, that's been what's been wrong at Featherstone, I level of acceptance that you will get promoted and go to super league.

Now that's gone Fev fans can enjoy no pressure rugby

And it will do them a world of good if honest

Featherstone win Sunday by 18-22 points spread

I'll go 18-24 The way you coped with Toulouse tells me this will be closer than people expect.

I don’t think it will be as close as some suggest. I see it as:

Dewsbury 18-42 Featherstone

FTS: Greensmith

MoM: Turner

Att: 1102

Let’s see how close my selection will match that which takes the field:

Turner; Restall, O’Connor, Greensmith, Whiteley; Sykes, Hookem; Beckett, Davies, Dixon; Garside, Graham; Collinson

Subs: M Walker, Dawson, Ferguson, Morris

18th man: J Walker

D Dixon, Corion and Hird not selected

Legs, Dews, Legs.

Just can't see it being that big a margin - we shall see soon enough.

Credit to Fev fans for turning up in numbers  and a great start by the Rams. We played some good football but also some dumb plays. Tide started to tell with Morris' attempt at an offload and then things started to fall apart. Having scored one try from a short kick to the line we didn't try one again in following 70 minutes. And Turner kindly kicked the ball out on the full twice.

Budget and size tells and neither our budget or forwards are big enough to compete in the Championship.

Think Sykes needs to finish now. Twice handed over possession on 1st tackle from scrums trying miracle balls. And ran another ball on 6th tackle and just handed the ball over.

And on top of this the referee certainly contributed to the size of the defeat, with 5-6 penalties, six agains and a sin bin against us on our line whereas Fev were never offside or held down for the whole 80 minutes.

And Sheffield and Wakefield next up!
